At first glance Doral West appears to be a very nice place to live. That's how they get you to sign the lease. Then you see the underlying issues the initial poster pointed out. These include:

1. VERY noisy neighbors who make a racket at all times of the day and night. You will hear apartment-rattling music at 4 am here on a Wednesday coming from your neighbors' apartment. You will hear loud arguments between your neighbors at any time of day. And this is because....

2. The walls are PAPER-THIN. If you are in the bathroom you can hear your neighbor cough or fart if they're in their respective bathroom. You can hear your neighbor's conversations held at normal levels as if they're in the room with you. For an expensive and otherwise nice place it is shocking and appalling that they skimped on insulation and quality of the walling. Give the walls' lack of integrity they may as well knock down all the walls and have us all live in a giant commune. Who wants to pay $1400/mo. for a 1br where you never get peace and quiet'

3. The management simply doesn't care, just give them your check and leave the office. They don't care about noise issues, maintenance issues, general questions, etc. And maybe this is understandable because the ladies in the office are completely overburdened. For a place as large as this to only have one or two people working in the office at any time handling current tenants' needs, showing places to prospective tenants, moving people in, etc. is outrageous.

4. People park wherever they want and drive on whatever side of the road they want to. Be prepared to get into or narrowly avert an accident every day due to illegaly parked vehicles all over the complex that the management does nothing about.

To be honest, it's a shame because Doral West has so much potential to be an excellent place but the level of noise and the apathy of the management make it akin to living in a slum. If they fixed the quality of life issues here this would be a great place to live.

There are many places to live in Miami so ask yourself: Do you really want to pay big bucks for a noisy place where you'll never get a good night's sleep or a quiet day at home' 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

I'm the guy who posted the original review.. Yeah man I once heard an argument between a couple TWO DOORS DOWN. I asked my neighbor if he was ok and he was like "what"? I was like: dude I heard a big fight last night. He was like "oh that was my other neighbor". I believed him too. The walls are that thin.
