staff writes good reviews. Yeah the apts are nice, but that's it. staff drinking in parking lots parting with residents''', when you go into the office they are NOTHING but rude and don't know what they are talking about. INEXPERIENCED...

I have no issue with the office staff and in the 3 months I have lived here I haven't seen anyone partying in the parking lots.

They are out until all hours of the night drinking in the parking lot and playing pool. One of them is the Maintinence Super.

They are not out at all hours of the night how I know this is because I am the wife of the the super who also has a 21/2 year old baby boy wich bedroom is connected to that garage. I am absolutley dicusted at how some people have to feel that they need to attack to feel good about themselves or justify somthing for some reason you know maybee if youd spend more time having a life of your own you would not pay so much attention to ours and if that is the case then how is it that no one in the office had recieved one complaint and you are the only one with this ploblem. Also since he has been the super here for two years he has done nothing but cleaned up this place it was deffinatly neglected also every time there is a major emrgency he is always there I also know this because I here that pager going off at three in the morning as well. I would also like to point out that over the last two years other then him and his second hand man jeremy they are the only two from the original staff not one of the office staff is the same and most of the maintenance is different, but them two I wonder why that is. I bet that wasn't known was it. I also bet that you didn't know that he is not only handling one but two property's. How dare people who dont even have a clue sit here at your computers and write about people you don't even know. These messages just go to show you should make sure your facts are straight befor writing and actuly take the time to not be so negative ask questions. I would like to point out one last thing and state that I also think people take for granted when they do get good service and they should realize that. They are not in a private home of wich they own and although our neighbors should be respectfull sometimes it is not known that people are bothering other people and that the people that are being bothered should maybee give that person the benifit of the doubt and nicley ask them to tone it down a bit no reason to be calis.

Hate to burst Miss Dandy's bubble, but I saw this first hand and she is seriously full of ****. I've lived in several different apartments in my years, but never have I seen such an unprofessional staff or more disgusting behavior from "residents" either. What I find even more amusing is that while other people are actually paying to live there, Miss Dandy doesnt have the luxury of having to pay since her husband works for them, all that tells me is that while other people have their hard earned money going into this place, she has the luxury of making excuses for the poor service by saying that he is taking care of 2 properties at once. Funny, every apartment community I've lived in has always had their own maintenance on staff. Since clearly united dominion isn't going to bother to do that, that about shows what future residents can expect from this community. What I find even more amusing is that she bothered to come on here do "defend" the poor service, but all she really did was show other residents and future residents alike exactly what they can look forward to... excuses and argumentative behavior. Read all the comments on this community before bothering to go here.

As an outsider considering MacAlpine Apts. I think that #1 Management needs to get tougher & hire more mature - responsible - experienced staff. #2 Anyone who is unhappy should be able to leave (with 1 month notice) without exorbitant fees. #3 Kick out the RiftRaft - Druggies. Dunedin needs to be able to offer affordable & livable properties.
