Been renting now for about 10 months and am in the process of packing to move before the lease is up. Grounds are kept so-so. Stairwells have continuously been discusting covered with stains, cigarette butts and cobwebs since I moved in (I'm on the 3rd floor so I get to see all that on a consistant basis). It's really embarrassing to have anyone over. Many do not pick up after their pets so the smell of dog poop is a constant, made worse by the heat. My apartment was burglarized on the 3rd floor by someone who apartently knows how to pick locks because at least 2 other units were broken into as well. Gated Community' more of joke really. Due to this I installed an alarm system, so I recommend others to do that as well. The place is already wired for it, so installation cost me about $100 or $150. Parking is not really a problem if you don't mind walking. The apartments themselves are ok except for the peel-n-stick flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. The few times that I've been to the pool I was swimming in bugs, so I've stopped going. A friend of mine that lives in the community is moving as well. They increased her rent on a one bed / one bath about $200 a month. I'm expecting mine will be an increase close to $400 a month with a 2/2 and just don't think that the place is worth that much (though I haven't "officially" heard what the increase will be, they say it will depend on the market value at the time of lease renewel). Anyway, not a great experience, especially for the cost.
