I just wanted to give an opposing opinion to the ones on here. It seems that people tend to post reviews or state opinions more when they dislike something than when they like it. Its a statistic that when people have had bad service they tell 10 to 20 people, but with a good experience they tell 1 or 2. On that note, I am here to tell you about my wonderful experience with this complex.

The staff in the office knew I had to have a place to move into by the end of the week as I was starting a job that following monday. They rushed to get me keys and stayed until 830 pm (they close at 7) to get a good deal for me and complete my paperwork.

Not only that, when I had issues with my refrigerator and dishwasher not having the water connected, they came and fixed it THAT DAY. I have very nice neighbors and it seems that most people in the complex are high quality (not scummy) people. The management is friendly and helpful and for the most part the complex is quiet. The amenities are great, there are things for children and dogs, as well as places to walk. I always see people out every morning making sure the place looks great.

I truly believe that I get what I pay for here. I love it so far and intend on staying for a while. I definitely recommend it and if anyone is reading this, don't pay attention to the bad reviews. Its just people who have had personal problems standing on their soapbox and telling their 20 or so people about their beef.

REPLY: Well, IF you truly aren't an employee or leasing agent of McAlpine Place, (which is dubious at best since a MPA employee posts every few months with a post just like yours), but let's say you're legit, why don't you see how you feel in 13 weeks as opposed to now. Trust me, I was a traveler like you and I also initially liked it when I moved in. My good experience lasted a week. Between the speeding cars in the parking lots nearly running over my kids, to the BOOMING subwoofers in the car stereos, inattentive management when there is a problem and the drug rehab facilities that rent MPA apts to serve as their half-way houses, you too will likely have a different opinion in a few weeks. Trust me, there are FAR better complexes in the area than this poorly managed one.

Everyone is always so negative. Honestly though,if I had kids or pets I would probably rather rent a house anyway. I also think its funny how anything good people always think someone is lying. What is this world coming to? LOL
