well you know its bad when they loose papers out of your file, they say maint is done and taken care of and its not, they say its dirt and not mold when it is mold, unfriendly people in the office except for maybe one or two, they rent to anyone even if they do have a bad criminal back ground, they continue to allow drug activity on the premisis even after they are told about it, they dont stick to their word that is stated in your lease about if maint is not out there by the following work day after a weekend or holiday that so much is taken off your rent, it could be one mth before anyone goes out to check for a maint issue and they never deduct nothing off your rent, people are moving out as fast as they can, they put sheriffs eviction notices on doors even after people have moved out, they say you didnt return keys even after you put them in an envelope in the night deposit box.
I was able to visit a friend living at the complex and done some walking around talking to other tenants in the complex. Better be careful where you walk around there because people who have dogs most of them are too lazy to go out to the pet area and walk their dog they let them go in front of everyones apt or right on the sidewalk, people use the sidewalk for a driveway because they are too lazy to walk from the parking lot to their front door, people have been seen parking on the sidewalk all day just so they didnt have to walk so far to their front door or they were too lazy. From what i gather from the people i have talked to and from what i have seen while walking around the complex it is like they are getting rid of the tenants that actually pay the rent and keep up the apts with calling maint as needed and all and keeping the slum tenants there not doing nothing about it. You also know its bad there when you hear alot of the tenants tell you that one person that works in the office that lives on the property had their children get in trouble because of drugs on the premises and that person is still working in the front office. What type of people are they going to hire next. I know i can say i was thinking about moving there as soon as my lease was up here where im at now but i think im better off staying where i am. at least where i am now i do get maint taken care of and i dont have the issue of drug rings and all going on. oh one other thing about this regency oaks/granada
they claim to have spent 10,000.00 on a play ground out back for the kids and new picnic tables and grills out back by the club house
why didnt they put that money towards fixing what needed to be fixed in the apts and get the grounds kept up nicer than what it is to look better
from the looks of it that playground and all dont look like it cost them no 10,000.00
my advice to you is shop around before thinking about moving to this complex
read apt ratings on all apts
your best bet is try to find a house that is for rent if you cant buy
at least you know you get what you pay for and maint is taken care of
shop around
stear clear of this complex though
