always look for a clause in contract about rent raising up..They say you get 1500.00 back after 3 years but it will cost you. After a year our rent went up 100.00 and let me tell you what i have had and still not done yet..I have had three ac leaks ,soaked carpet each time still not fixed right still leaks once in a while bad,my kitchen sink plumbing fell twice called a plumber in but plumber said it would cost 1200 to fix it right and complex wont pay it so it is temp holding,my toilet had cracked along bottom, water comes up through it,and had a car break in in front of my apartment and all this for 100 extra rent i have to pay because I dont have the money to go elsewhere right now,Always ask before signing if rent will rise up each year.. You never know what you're getting into until its too late..oh yes maintenace is very inexperienced also they donot know how to fix a ac or plumbing ..They also need more security at night. Nightly drives throughout complex. This would make alot of people feel safer.
