I haven't been living there long, but long enough to realize that what I was told before moving in hasn't been held true. I was promised that my rent would be based on my income, but shortly after signing a one year lease my rent was raised. I am only allowed to work a certain number of hours in order to live there, but now that they have raised the rent I can barely afford to pay my bills. I wasn't told that the rent could go up on me at any time before signing the lease..it was probably in the ten page lease that I had to try and figure out the legal jargon of. They have monthly inspections of the apartments in which the apartment manager comes in with the guy to spray for bugs. He kinda splashed this wall and that wall and he is done. The apartment manager is nice, but she doesn't keep her promises and she can't remember one promise from the next. If she doesn't want to talk to you about something then she is impossible to track down. She doesn't return phone calls or stay in her office. For what I am paying here in rent now, I could have afforded to rent a small house or gotten another place with a roommate. Also, I was told that I could have a pet if the doctor said that it was medically necessary, but when I brought in the doctors order, I was told that I couldn't have any pets.
