This community is nice and quiet community but it is infested with FLEAS. I give my dog advantix every month (I have tried Frontline and Advantage as well) but it does not work because he gets fleas every time he goes outside. The grass has so many fleas that its impossible for him to walk on the grass without being bit. Everybody in my building with a dog is having the same problem. Let me give you an example, I will check my dog before going outside and he will have no fleas after his flea bath and after he finishes in the grass he has at least 30 fleas running around his belly.
I feel so bad for all the dogs in this community, they are constantly getting flea medications and sprays and shampoos and still nothing works because they don't fumigate the grass enough. They fumigated in March but it rained the day that they did it and the fleas were back within 2 days. I've been here 2 years and they've only fumigated twice. Its disgusting. So if you dont have pets this is a good community but if you do, prepare yourself to spend a lot of money on flea spray, shampoo, medications, and carpet sprays (My feet get bit constantly in my house).

Which building are/were you in? We are by the leasing office, Building F, and have yet to experience this issue.

We were having the same problem. My vet switched my dogs to Comfortis (it's a once-a-month pill, instead of that liquid)along with their regular baths, and they are happy as can be.
