Do not rent here!

Living in this rental community was like living in a sleepless hell. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear people conversing in the apartments around you. I was unlucky enough to be placed next to an apartment with dogs that barked all hours of the night. Here is where I get really frustrated because every time I complained to the office about it, which got to be every couple of days at one point) the property manager would "yes" me off of the phone and all they do is leave a notice on the door. If the notice doesn't seem to alleviate the problem, too bad! When the property manager told me that she'd send a 7 day notice to my noisy neighbor I was so thankful to think that I would get some sleep. While I'm not sure whether or not the notice was sent the noise continued and I was helpless to PAY OVER $900 IN RENT to listen to DOGS BARK all night. My complaints from then on fell on deaf ears. The property manager must have loved my jerkoff neighbors because I know that at least 3 other apartments were complaining about the dogs. One time while I was on the phone with them complaining about it another woman from my building came in to make the same complaint.
These same neighbors also seemed to think that there was valet garbage pick up b/c they'd leave trash outside their door for days at a time leaking and stinking. When I talked to the management about it they were like well we sent them a notice. With the kind of attitude of what more do you want us to do' I wouldn't have even cared if I didn't have to walk by it and smell it everyday.
The washing machines are brand new but for whatever reason break occasionally mid-cycle. So I will fill it not even to the halfway mark with clothes and come back to a broken machine. It cost $1.50 each cycle. Don't lose the card that they give you either, it's like $30 to replace it!!!
The place is infested with fleas like the other reviewer said. I had a pet that never went outside but still managed to get fleas. The office doesn't cover flea pest control because they say we bring the fleas with us. I did not bring the fleas with me. It really was a never ending battle to keep the fleas out!
When I got the apartment, it was clean, but there were a few things wrong with it. The carpet was stained in several different places and there was a hole in the wall that had been taped over and painted over(very professional). I was told that after I moved out, they'd replace my carpet because it had lasted it's life. However when I moved out there was still 10 months of "life" left in the carpet so I paid for it because of my pet. I even paid to replace the padding underneath even though my pet never used the floor as a toilet. The money that you pay the for a pet, most people call that a pet deposit, in reality these people call it a pet "fee" and none of it goes toward paying for the damages of the pet. Just more money to line their pockets.

Just a thought about noisy neighbors. Have you actually gone and talked to the owner directly? This may help more than having notes placed on the door. Also, I had a problem with the washing machine once and they offered to refund the $1.50. They are reasonably.
As far as the stain, that is something you write down when you first move in so that you are not charged.
In the reviews I think its important to write down which side of the complex you live on. I live right by the pool and we walk two laps around CC every day. We have never gotten fleas and I have never given fleas to my cat (in-door cat).
I can agree with the paperthin walls. My neighbor is rather loud at night. But I think the best thing to do is talk to your neighbor and work something out.

I did talk to the tenants directly and no I never actually complained about the washers and dryers. I did write down the stains in the beginning. I even had the main look at them so they knew I wasn't making it up.
