Yeah, it looks good at first, but for what you pay, it's no bargain. The walls are so thin that I hear our upstairs neighbor using the bathroom (not flush, actually peeing). The same neighbors fight, yelling and screaming at each other between 2am - 5am an average of 3 times a week, and yet management has done nothing. We've called security, we've written letters. The garages that are suppose to be available for rent are all being used by the maintenance crew. Try sleeping late on a weekday and you'll be roused by saws and welding equipment. The local management is suppose to be there at 9am, but don't expect them before 10a. Rules aren't enforced, like cleaning up after dogs, so you can't walk in the grass. Plus, if you are ever late on your rent, they'll tack a 3-day notice on your door in the middle of the night (literally!). They charge $100 for late rent payment. PLUS, heaven forbid your check is returned -then they want a $95 returned check fee! We're talking the first offense in 2 years of renting. Oh, and make sure you have a ladder because you'll be putting up your own hurricane shutters. And to top it off, my car was just vandelized in our nice, gated apartment. I filed a report and was told that they've been having trouble over on that side. Well, fix the lights that are out and have security drive through. The head of management STILL hasn't called to even lie to me about "doing something about it."
