Rats, Bugs, Mold and Rudeness "as is" for 250K!

I have lived here for 3 years and have seen this place steadily go down hill since Equity sold our complex. Since the new owner has taken over, there has been no upkeep in this place (except for the club house and the pool.) My apartment is very clean but since Equity sold it, I have experienced for the first time, problems with ants, roaches, and other bugs that are coming up out of the drains in the bathroom- due to the lack of maintanance and pest control. We have actually had mushrooms growing out of our carpet due to mold in/around the air conditioner. Rats are running around the place and the dumpster is usually disgusting with overflowing trash. The contracted maintanence workers were actually sitting outside smoking weed one day as I was walking by! A couple of cars have been stolen here since the hurricane due to the lack of lighting. The appliances in the apartment are about to give out and I would hate to see someone buy here "as is" You will lose at lot of money and you will have a lot of headaches for the whopping price of 250K!!!!!!!! Don't buy here....

The situation when the previous owners left was such that the sellers did little to keep the place up. Our new management has created a beautiful newly renovated clubhouse, an all new fitness center with state of the art equipment, and an all new pool deck area with gorgeous furniture. Now maintenance, pest control, tenant repairs and service calls are up to date, and attended to within 24 hours. All tenants are invited to report any problems, and everyone is welcome to come see the beautiful Isles at Lago Mar. |

I've lived here for 4 years and the complaints are true! If you don't live by the office or models the place is a mess. If you're a renter you are treated by the new owner (Isadore Cohen) as a second class citizen. Mr. Cohen is rude and very unattentive to problems. Don't buy or rent!
