Might be a long review.

I have been watching reviews here, some I agree with, some I do not.

Rats: Yes, there are rats here, but the ones who complain about them must be afraid of something that is more afraid of them. Come ON, ladies, they're furry little critters just looking to eat. I live across from the garbage area and I have NEVER seen a rat come close to the apartments. Garbage is left outside the actual dumpster' Why' My thought is that RESIDENTS are too lazy/don't know to walk up the steps and too lazy/don't know to push the GREEN button to compact the trash.

Maintenance workers: Sure, I miss Randy, Clint, and Louis, too, but the newer guys aren't THAT bad. So, they like to check out the ladies, nothing really wrong with that especially since I see how some of the ladies dress. if I were male, I'd probably look, too! Heck, I'm straight, but some women are dressed so good or so... scantily... that one can't HELP but look. Do these women think "I'm going to dress sexy so no one will look at me." Somehow I doubt that.

The painting of the parking lot WAS a pain, and it COULD have went better, but better to get it over as soon as possible. I even commented to a maintenance person (or 3) that doing in front of MY apartment on a Friday was a pain in the butt, but what can you do' We parked in the right areas the very next night. But yeah, looks like it was done a year ago rather than a week ago.

Personally, we have had NO problems with staff other than them insisting on repairing a water heater rather than replacing it. (It's been fixed 4 times since I have been here, it's really time to replace it.)

Now, since this place is going condo, they aren't really going to be in a rush to fix things. Why would they' It's selling "As is", right' Let the buyers worry about it.

There has been little crime here, but you stand the chance of crime wherever you go. As far as I can remember, there was one man robbed of his wallet, cell phone and "bling". Bet he was flashing all of it, anyway. Trucks were broken into, but it was obvious it was kids since all the trucks broken into were the exact same model.

The assigned parking is a joke, can't wait to see how many people lose their minds over something trivial. I wish they had "Mommy Parking". I don't have children myself, but I do worry about the ones that do have small children.

Oh, it also cracks me up to hear that people in the back pay more since they have a view of the canal and golf course. So what' Since the hurricanes, the water is filled with trash. If I owned the place, I would go out myself to clean it up. Maybe if we all pitched in and cleaned it, that extra payment might be worth it. I'm in the front, but I do like to go out to feed the ducks on occasion.

Oh yeah, this place accepts big dogs. A definant plus.

Noise: Not so noisy. Sure, you can hear people talking outside your window, but I never hear my neighbors. The people off to the side of us have a child under 5 and the woman above us has a toddler. SOME noise goes on from the kids, but come on, they're kids and kids make noise. Both sets of parents do have the chidren in bed at a reasonable hour and there isn't a peep out of the children after 10pm at the latest.

While I agree that SOME of these reviews are written by the staff, I hardly think ALL of the good reviews are.

So come on, people, are you REALLY that dissatisfied with the area, or do you just like to complain'

I'm leaving my review as anonymous, but with everything i've said, it isn't hard to figure out who I am.
