I made the big mistake of buying a unit here when they were turned into condos. The person who bought the property to convert them expected to flip them quickly and make millions. But the market tanked and he is stuck with a complex he neither cares to maintain or has any interest in. Roofs over some apartments have actually collapsed from water leaks that are ignored until disaster happens. The roofing crew he hires is a few shappy looking men in a broken down pickup truck. The units are falling apart and have mold which is ignored. The cleaning ladies just drive over trash and pretend they don't see it. No one gives a damn that works here. It's a great location and the previous owners maintained the place immaculately. This new owner is a complete cheapskate idiot who is running the place into the ground and has no rules for the riff raff that sadly are moving in. I'm bitter because my investment is worth less every month. Cars are routinely stolen and vandalized as well because there is zero security.

Lived here?

| As a unit owner, please come forward and identify yourself to the office. Otherwise, you are obviously a (former) tenant or competitor, with your own agenda. 3 complaints in 2007, all anonymous, out of over 360 tenant residents, and over 200 sales and closings through December 2007, it sounds fishy. The roof are repaired from the 2005 hurricanes, the property values have not tanked, in fact check the Broward County Property Appraiser website, sales are at $300 psf average in the past 90 days, over 2006 !! We were never flippers, we still own over 150 apartments here, all currently under contract. Please come forward to the office and identify yourself, if in fact you bought here and live here, which we know is not so. Mr. Cohen 954.370.9200 | |

Hi hyytekk,
I am also an owner (purchasd in June of 2006) and it's not so bad for me. I can agree that lots of work needs to be done around the lake, the dumpster and other areas....but just think, once the developer turns the property over to the Board of Directors, you and I can join and make a difference. We can make decisions when hiring contractors and we can suggest improvements to better beautify the place. I know that right now it's tough (trust me, I know)...but when this does happen, I am sure we will be pleased that A) the leasing office will officially be closed and B) no more being ignored.
A property manager from The Continental Group and 5 Board Members can really make a difference. Remember, once the developer turns the property over, the Association kicks into high gear...and there is no messing around with owners who wants to see things done and done right!
Lastly, I visited the sales office recently and even spoke with the developer himself. Units are selling; maybe not as fast as expected but they are selling and an end to this drama will soon be reached.

Ah yes dear Mr. Cohen,
So typical. Deny accuse and continue to be arrogant. Anything but fixing the problems. The entire complex is in chapter 11 as anyone can google to see. There is mold not just in the walls but growing on the tiled roofs and staining the buildings paint, also as anyone can see. The roofers who were doing the infrequent repairs were indigents working out of a half demolished truck, as anyone could have seen by driving by. After rains the parking lot is full of big potholes, also which anyone can see after a heavy rain. The new tenants look like hoodlums which anyone can drive by and see. I can go on and on. As for "non personas" writing reviews, as you call it, the response from AMAG is the most fake, thinly veiled management posted wording imaginable. Perhaps you will mention why "association" meetings are always scheduled for 11 a.m. during week days? Maybe because you know people work and no one can attend so you don't have to listen to owner's complaints. You took a gamble with this property and lost making a killing as you no doubt imagined. Now at least try to maintain it and stop denying, making excuses and being so arrogant. Oh yes, you say come forward and to the office? No one ever answers the management telephone number and most of the time no one is in the office to talk to! The sales office doesn't share that problem though and is glad to trap another unsuspecting victim.

I think I made the mistake of buying a unit here as well. Everytime I see maintenance driving by and wondering what the heck they are doing, looking so unprofessional with no uniform, it makes me regret that I have bought here. The lady goes in the golf cart to pick her son up from school and I always see her driving around. The breezeways are so dirty, and people leave their children's toys outside overnight. I wonder where my association fee goes to. After complaining several times to the maintenance office about the roof in the breezeway where I live, still nothing has been done because no one cares. Something could easily fall on my head while holding my baby and I can fall down the stairs hurting myself and my daughter then I will be the one owning Isles at Lago Mar.
