Anyone thinking of buying in Sole Condos (formerly Jefferson Place) should do some serious soul-searching. Although the neighborhood will improve with time, currently it sits across the street from at least one "crack" house. People are constantly driving down the street in search of drugs.

The building is virtually empty because they can't convert sales. The asking price of all units is too high for what you might get. The quality of carpeting, cabinets, applicances, and fixtures is low. Pray that nothing breaks because maintenance is slow and incompetent.

Make no mistake...the only reason the Sales Office is staffed is to sell condos. They do not care about the residents. When you call the "after-hours" emergency number, you will find that it has been disconnected. When asked about this, the Sales Office responded with, "Okay". That was months ago and nothing has changed. Although they say they will accept your packages, when you go to pick them up in the Sales Office, you often get a look of disdain because you are interrupting them from their desperate attempt to sell the overpriced condos.

There are many better real estate options in Fort Lauderdale. Stay away from this one.
