Not Too Bad

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I've lived in Port Royale for about a year now, and although I'm being forced out of my unit with little notice b/c it's due for a renovation, I'm renewing my lease for another year in another unit. Yes, after our insane hurricane season last year, the landscaping was destroyed, but they have recently completed most of the relandscaping and looks nicer than it did before it was destroyed last year.
Also, other than the disrespectful people who march and talk loudly while going up the stairs, the noise level is next to none, I very rarely heard any of my neighbors while they were inside of their unit.
Parking on the other hand is a major problem. In the area where I resided parking is not assigned and it is on a first come first served basis. It is so bad, that people are forced to park in no parking zones and disabled parking spaces, as so they wouldn't have to walk the length of a football field to get to their unit from their car.
I always felt safe and I never needed to call maintenance, but while I was cooking one night a part of the light fixture in the kitchen fell on me. Maybe my opinion will change after yet another year at "The Port", but for now, its a pretty okay place to live.
