I've lived here since the complex first opened..I've now been here for three years and I am anticipating moving out ASAP!!! When I first moved in, this place was decent, close to FGCU, with many new things up and coming. The staff and managment was friendly and maintence seemed to do it's work. That was the first month or so that I lived here. From there, it has all gone down hill. The staff is not rude and stupid. They do not know a thing that is going on because they are all young and obviously not informed of anything. There is ALWAYS someone new in the office because they just can't seem to keep anyone. The managment is NEVER around when you need them. When they are around, they lie and cheat you out of money. No matter what you say or you they are always correct and you have to pay. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't put the "extra charges" with you rent, but they do and if you don't pay is screws with your credit. For example, we had mold in my apartment which was reported several times and nothing was done about it. Finally after begging, kicking, and screaming someone came into look at it. Of course what they found was horrible. We were given a 1 day verbal notice by one of my roommates that we needed to leave for 48 hours. I do not have any family in the area thus prompting me to stay in a hotel which College Club refused to pay for. Then I find out after the mold procedure was complete that I had to PAY for the mold procedure. I was not informed of this when we were told what would happen. Their lousy excuse for charging us was that it is NOT their fault that we had mold, it was something we did to bring the mold into the apartment, and we have to pay. Like I said, this extra charge is tacked to my rent and it will go down as me not paying my rent in full thus screwing up my credit. I've had many other instances with this pathethic place. It has some great things if they were maintained. There is always a party going on with half naked underage girls. And College Club sponsors it!!! The noise is horrible, and the outside grounds area is completly gross. As a female, I do not feel safe living here.I strongly suggest not moving in here. It will save you many head aches.

Very true college club is a horrible place to live. I moved in about two month ago and I hate it. I regret ever coming to this place. At college club everyone is only a number they don't give a crap about your safety or your concerns. Unfortunately I have about 10 months left on my lease. I can't wait to get the heck out college club.

I just got accepted into FGCU and am now looking online for places other than the dorms to stay. I have only found College Club and Coastal Village, and if what your saying is true, that only leaves Coastal Village, which I haven't heard anything about. Is there any other apartments near FGCU that run about the same cost as those, and have you heard any comments on them? Thanks

Coastal is the same old crap as college club. If I were you, I'd just move into the dorms cause its the safest bet.
