I relocated to Ft. Myers two years ago and Gulf Stream Isles was the perfert place for me. They were the most affordable in all of Lee County and are situated in a perfect location. I never had one problem with GSI. On a Saturday at 7:30 AM the air conditioning went out at they had it running in two hours...we needed a new lock and they fixed it right away. I just recently bought a condo and received my FULL deposit back. Gulf Stream Isle is the perfect place to live when you first move into Lee County.

I find it hard to believe that a real tenant wrote this review. It just sounds too perfect and GSI is far from perfect. There are 83 reviews listed on this website and the majority of them are negative. When I moved out of my apartment I left it spotless and still did not get my deposit back. I also had several friends that lived here and they did not get their deposit back either when they moved out. It seems that GSI tries to come up with any excuse they can to avoid giving back a deposit. This place is cheaper than a lot of other apartments in Lee County but I would rather pay a little more someplace else and deal with less problems. For anyone looking to rent here please be smart and keep on driving. Don't even waste your time on this place.

When I called to complain that my air conditioning wasn't working their response was that it wasn't over 80 degrees outside yet (they wont come fix the air until its over 80 degrees outside, read your lease!).
