Not the best...but not bad.

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I've lived in Gulfstream Isles for 2 years and have had an overall ok experience. Lets start with the worst thing though...the construction in May-June 2007 was awful. The workers left my apartment very dirty and had the AC turned up blasting when I got home from work. It took me a good 3 hours to clean the floors and counters up. The construction lasted for 5 full days on the inside from 8am-5pm and you didn't have a choice about times or dates. It was awful because I work a later shift and couldn't get any sleep. On the outside the construction was for a whole month (or longer). Very loud drilling, hammering, and other noises. NEVER got any sleep. Once that was done it was fine. The office staff has always been nice even during the new management transition. Any problems I had were taken care of in a decent amount of time. Two things I didn't like with the staff was that they didn't ever all seem to be on the same page about policies or costs and notices left on door about entering. The staff would post an intent to enter the night before. The rule is to give residents at least 24 hours even 48 to be nice. Overall I recommend this complex. If you don't break rules with trash outside your door or having pets without a deposit, you should have a good experience.
