As I was looking for a place to stay I found archer court apts. They had this great sign that said $350 moves you in (this is on July 22) and the guy in the office said that August would be free. I go in and find that the apartments are ok and I think that the deal is fair. Then they tell you that they keep $100 for redecorating fees and if you see these apartments you will see that nothing has been redecorated since the mid-80's. For some reason I decide to put in an appication anyway. I come back 2 days later and I see a flyer that says the remainder of July's rent is free and that I have to pay $645 on August first. The office guy said that he forgot about that small change and that I was still getting a deal. He has only had a leasing job for 2 months and he's a total ------ and the property manager isn't much brighter. Everyone is telling the truth when they say that no one is ever in the office and if you think youre going to talk with someone get familiar with the answering machine. Lucky for me I was able to get out of this without having to stay there but office staff is always a good indication of how living there will be. So Beware.
