Very nice neighborhood, at least it was in 1994-5

Years at this apartment: 1995 - 1995
It was a very nice neighborhood and management. A nice woman managed the property and her husband did the landscaping. The only problem I had was when the water heater went out, and the manager was on vacation. I eventually reached someone at management headquarters in Columbus, OH.
When they first showed me the apartment, they showed me this sample of sound insulation between the drywall. It must have been true b/c I never heard anything.
You could access the attic from inside the unit. The water heater was up there, which was efficient b/c the attics are so hot in Florida. I put a ham radio antenna up there, with good results.
The efficiency refrigerator was really paltry. I don't know where there was room, though, for something bigger.
The laundry room was nice, but there were too few washers for the number of units. I often took my clothes down to the laundromat at the southwest corner of Archer and 34th.
The A/C was really powerful. You could get it very cool quickly, with very low energy bills. Energy bills were lower than every other apartment I've EVER lived in.
I lived there for a year from '94 and to '95, and I still remember it as a nice place.
