I left Asbury Park not because there was anything wrong with the place but the rent was going up too high and I decided to go cheap and I thought I would get the same quality. Boy was I wrong! I have moved twice in the last nine months and each place is getting worse. Asbury Park was like a little house and it was a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. I would walk to the fitness center late at night and work out @ 12 or 1 in the morning and I never felt unsafe. The pool and jacuzzi area did need to be supervised a little more because people just dump off their kids or the start messing around with the temperature of the jacuzzi. I still think its a little too pricey for Gainesville but maybe they are trying to keep the students away which is fine with me. I am now relocating to another city in Florida but if I ever came back to Gainesville and didn't buy I would definitely rent from Asbury again.
