Don't let these reviews fool you. The place looks nice on the outside and the couple who run the place seem nice on the outside...
The interiors of the apartments are circa 1960. Horrible stained wallpaper throughout. If you don't like hearing your neighbors clunk around don't move in. The apartments are manufactured housing so there is no foundation...its like a mobile home. You can hear your neighbors laughing, talking, walking, fighting...I even heard my neighbor snoring.
The couple that run the joint...it seems like a good idea until the wife is in your business. You can't even walk to the mailbox without her staring you down and running after you to talk.
My car acually got stolen out of the parking lot there (after the wife just went on and on about how safe the place was). When the police came to get my statement it was all they could do not to arrest the wife because she was trying to nose in. The police had to ask her numerous times to mind her own business. After I got talking to the Police they told me the location of the apartments was REALLY bad and had a LOT of crime.
After I moved out they tried to charge me an arm and a leg for cleaning services. I am verging on OCD when it comes to cleaning so I take great offense to some old lady claiming I am a slob.
I would definitely move in to Bentwood as a LAST resort. You'll thank me!
