Do not live here
The offices let's themselves into your unit as they please, without notice or reason. They will steal your items and not respond to maintenance requests. Barely half of the laundry works and the pool is a joke. Fair warning to those who rent the officeā¦Ā See More >anonymous

3 and 1/2 years very few problems
I have been in my unit for 3.5 years without any real problems. The 2 bedroom units are some of the largest in Gainesville, 1250 sq ft, for the price and location, unbeatable. My unit was totally redone, all new appliances, granite counter tops, newā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Think Twice Before You Move Here
Poor place to live, apartments turned condos, old, foundation uneven, poor insulation makes energy bill extremely high, don't move here if you have kids, no playgrounds. The clubhouse is outdated, the equipment is old and/or broken.Filled with irresponsible pet owners that leave dog crap inā¦Ā See More >anonymous

A terrible place, run by terrible people
Oh where to start... How about the collections bill I get two years after moving out and never hearing from the apartment complex once since I moved? (And yes, they had a forwarding address and phone number.) Considering I didn't do any damage toā¦Ā See More >happyowner64

Love Brandywine
GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. I have owned my Brandywine Condo for 5 years. These are NOT apartments, but condos! Some owners rent their condos and many owners have updated their units beautifully. The units are large and Brandywine is quiet,ā¦Ā See More >GatorFan3303

Actual student review... no bias. I have loved living here.
I liked living here the past year and a half, it has been the nicest place in gainesville for me personally. I don't know what these people with negative reviews are talkinga bout, the matienence people only came to my place every few months forā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Not worth it.
This was my first apartment in Gainesville. When I rented, I needed something quick and this was one of the few places available. I rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $545 a month. The apartment was somewhat clean when I tookā¦Ā See More >anonymous

SO convenient and priced RIGHT!
I would certainly recommend this unit to couples or grad students trying to save a bit of money. Right - it isn't the newest building - but for the price - you cannot possibly have an issue with living here. The laundry isā¦Ā See More >anonymous

horrible place.. Dont ever go here..
I lived in this apt complex btwn Aug 2009 and July 2010 and I am not sure this is as good as the other complexes around. This is an older complex and hence the electric equipment here is pretty old.. the A/C units in particular.ā¦Ā See More >el456

Brandywine is great
Brandywine is a great apartment complex-I highly recommend it. It is convenient to get to UF, it is a great value, and it is quiet (not a lot of undergrads anymore). It is an older complex, but the one bedroom I lived in was completelyā¦Ā See More >relser

Great for the price
I've been living in a 2/1 with my wife for the past year. We've honestly checked at least 90% of the apartments in Gainesville, and we haven't found a better deal: 1200 sq. ft. for $595/mo. (it's increased to $615/mo. this year). They're older units,ā¦Ā See More >07grad

Great Place to live
I have lived in Brandywine for five years. The place is huge - large closets in the bedrooms, two storage closets in the foyer and one off the balcony. The living room is big enough for a full size sofa, entertainment center, tablesā¦Ā See More >DMKBSMA

Great Value for the money
I have lived in a huge, compared to modern construction, two bedroom two bath for five years, and it is a wonderful place to live! Quiet, close to everything, the management does their best, and I have always felt very safe there.ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Pros: close to UF and cheap, Cons: old, noisy
This place is relatively big, cheap, and close to campus.

However, it is old, unkept (exept for the lawn which the cut diligently every two weeks at 7 in the morning) and noisy. This place is so old, and constructed with such cheap materials that youā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Affordable but noisy
The management was nice enough. Complaints about noise fall on deaf ears however. Maintenance was prompt and the exterminator guy came regularly. Overall, I'd recommend it to people.ā¦Ā See More >Brandywine Condominiums
