Park Lane converting to condo, the place sucks, beware

Park Lane was built with the cheapest of materials to maximize the profit margin that they will achieve when putting the units on the market as condos (well over $200k). Tenants regularly complain about doors coming of frames, chipped paint, warped cabinets, easily stained carpet, easily forming holes in tubs, etc.
When Park Lane does go condo, you'll be forced to either be inconvenienced with
another move or have to buy an overly priced but cheaply built unit. Not to mention there are 1,000s of condo converts
in Gainesville. What does this mean'
If you the naive dumba.s.s. to fork over so much $$$ for a Park Lane condo, then you'll have a --------- of a time selling w/positive cash flow since you'll be competing in a market where single family homes (new) cost the same as your unit plus a market overly saturated with condos, 95% of which are cheaper and more convenient to UF/Shands/downtown than Park Lane.
Park Lane is a long haul from UF campus, downtown, and Shands. If you're a lawyer, med resident, or even student you've got one hell of a drive thru crazy traffic each day. Archer is the busiest road in town.
Plus, Park Lane is located on a very busy intersection. Ahhh...the fresh smell of car exhaust all the time...hope you have a good
oncologist. Plus, the community is not safe (it is not gated), is poorly illuminated at night, and has homeless people walking around at night.
What about those restaurants to be located in Park Lane' It's been 4 months since they advertised them and none have occupied the place. Furthermore, imagine how much parking non-residents will occupy for a pizza, sandwich or cup of Joe.
What about that huge eye-sore in the middle of the property' It's called a retention pond to catch water during rains, drainage runoff, floods, etc. Well, guess what folks, this is FL and there is a big big mosquito problem here (they'll eat you alive) and a big cottonmouth snake problem (yes, they're poisonous and can sometimes be found near unit entryways)
Yes, Park Lane is new and the newness may win some over but mgmt freaking sucks. What about the --- water fountain' What about ghetto-like areas closeby'
They'll promise the world when you try to rent but once you sign, look out. Hence, only then is the truth revealed (unless, of course, you're the smart one who researches apts before signing leases and checked the internet on Park Lane).
Be sure to include a damage schedule for condo conversion in your lease.

Park Lane is not and never has been "Going Condo". Check your facts before you run off at the mouth next time.
