I lived in Apartment K-4, three bedroom apt. Tuscan Bend apartments are among the worst apartments in Gainesville. Useless and arrogant manager, he is incompetent. The maintenance guys are lazy and never turn up to repair. To repair a/c they took 10 days and we were suffering for 10 days without a/c. Due to old badly maintained appliances, the electricity bill was never below $250 for 3 bed and occassionally reached even above $300. Same was the case with electricity in most apartments. Very unfriendly management. Laundromat is very dirty. And most of the time the clothes kept inside the washer are taken out by some people and there is no cam to check who did that. Except a dirty swimming pool and a gym full of broken equipment, there is nothing else in the apartment - nothing for sports/games etc. The bugs and mosquitoes were a constant problem due to unclean surroundings. Worst of all it is very expensive for its crappy facilities. No doubt Regency is lot more expensive than this but there are other better places like Stone Ridge, Towne Parc etc which are superb in quality and even cheaper rent. Hope this opens the eyes of people thinking of these apartments.

I agree with this cause my a/c was broke for like 6 wks and the manager kept saying there is nothing wrong with it, so finally i had to call code enforcement in order to get a new one. I wish I had a 250 light bill, mine was 377 and now that my ac has been fixed my last bill was 255. And you know your ac is not working when your sitting there with your kids and hubby sweating like pigs and constantly having to go to walmart or somewhere just to cool off. My baby even got sick due to the a/c not working. When we first moved in to our apt. there was much needed work to be done still and was told that it will all be fixed within a week so we agreed...BIG MISTAKE on our part...been here for 3 almost 4 mths and still have stuff that isn't fixed.

It would be better if the ac guy derick would stop talking all the time and saying crap about other ppl and there personal lives and did something productive around here.
