As a former resident of Windmeadows, I must say that it is certainly not the greatest place to live in Gainesville! Although the rent is decent and the location has its benefits, the apartments are old and in pretty crappy condition! The maintance is very rude and they like to take their time fixing things, if they ever get around to it. The management and office staff is even worse, all they care about is getting your rent money each month! It appeared to me that there were too many people in charge there, however no one knew what the hell was going on. Also, the appliances are VERY OLD, and you will get a HUGE Electric bill each month because of this. If I could do it all over again I certainly would not live there, you can find a lot better places for the same amount you would pay to live at Windmeadows!
