THEY SUCK THEY SUCK THEY SUCK. I LIVED THERE FOR A YEAR WITH MY HUSBAND AND THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. THEY MAKE PROMISES UP THE WAZOO BUT THEY NEVER EVER EVER DO WHAT THEY SAY. THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS TO HIGH HEAVEN AND THE ONLY NICE PERSON IS THE HUSBAND OF THE MANAGER. HE IS A VERY NICE GUY BUT THAT IS THE ONLY THING GOING FOR THEM ASIDE FROM THE LOCATION. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES TO STAY. BEWARE!!!!! MY CAR WAS KEYED AND THEY DID NOTHING TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING TO OTHER CARS AS WELL. PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE SINCE THEY DO NOT ASSIGN SPOTS AND WHEN OUR NEIGHBORS HAD THEIR 500 FAMILY MEMBERS OVER EVERY WEEKEND, GUESS WHO HAD TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET'''' TOTALL CRAPPY PLACE. DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!!!

I disagree totally! Everyone was nice to me when I lived at Windmeadows. There is an abundance of parking and I don't personally feel it is the managements fault that there are people out there that will key a car(maybe you knew them too) nor can any management company PREVENT such things! Hell police can't either. Sounds like you needed a home with a garage, your own driveway and a state of the art security system that might detect movement on your driveway, seriously. There are a ton of complexes in Gainesville and making a decision which one to choose has to be based on individual needs. But it is NOT a crappy place.
