Everything that other person wrote is true. The place is extremely old (was built in the 60's) but it's actually worse. The crime rate in that complex is worse than anyone can imagine. Every car is a target for vandelism. I've lived there for more than 20 years because my family was poor. And we got what we paid for. The bedrooms, closets, bathroom and kitchen are tiny. What's left' A decent size living room. My parents still live there because they hate change (whole other story) but they always talk about leaving. Right now as we speak . . the building is beige with an aqua strip on the roof. The walls are green or yellow (depending on weather), the floor is red, and the doors are aqua and black (black due to rust eating the paint). These people can't even afford a paint job! So if anything breaks down in your house (which it will at least once a month) they will NOT get it fixed for a while. When Hurricane Andrew passed, it took them 3 months to fix our air conditioner because the winds tore a fan off the roof. Let's hope you don't have to go through that in Hialeah! (It's only 90 degrees out you know)

But let me emphasize on the worse part of that complex (yes it gets worse) . . . the crime involving kids ANDDD adults. I have been sexually harassed a million times by the adults who live there and walk in, my car gets broken into 2 times a year by smashing the driver side glass in, my sister's car was stolen and never found, my best friend's car was stolen and found in Westland Mall 2 weeks later, people have been shot, raped, vandalized and had their homes broken into wayyy too many times to write in here. My parents' most recent attack was a naked man knocking door to door at 3am asking for help because people robbed him completely. When my dad called the police, they told my dad that it was a drunk running a scam to break into people's houses. The parking is NOT well lit at all that's why so many cars are stolen - the light's are always broken. There are bushes all around the perimeter of the complex, which at first is pretty, but when you think about it - it makes the vandalism more easier to do since they cannot be seen. Noise level - EVERYONE loves to crank up their Spanish CD's and listen to their music with the front door open. The hallways have enough echo that even if you lived floors away you will hear it in your living room. So why did they take out that bench and basketball hoop' They both kept getting vandalized by the kids who live there. The park is gone because they too were targets of daily activities that went on there. The "Cambridge Square Gang", as the Hialeah Police Dept. calls them, are a group of kids running from 50 to 200 kids who are ALWAYS on the prowl. Making everyone targets for their plans on beating the "Four Winds Gang" which is just down the street. If you think I'm joking just pass by on Halloween night. All of them, for traditional purposes, come outside to the ONLY opening of the parking lot and egg cars that drive by and that are parked inside. One day they were nice enough to take a stolen car and crash it into my car. They left the car there, that's how I knew. I can sit here and tell you many more stories but why bother'' If you think you should still live here then perhaps you should, lol. If you love gangs, mafias, drug selling, crime, being scared out of your mind, faded paints, broken items in your home, small floorplans, disgusting service and your rent being $700 for a one bedroom apartment then hey, come on in! Trust me, just stay away!!! By teh way, reason why everyone writing these reviews stay anonomous' Because of the gangs of coarse!
