Good, but don't let a cat visit your house or they'll charge you $300!

Overall, the community is made up of working, mature adults (young and old) who work during the day and sleep at night. You won't find yourself woken up at all hours of the night by the trash that lives next door.
My second floor apartment had a "sunken" living room. The entire living room floor was drooping big time, but that didn't bother us. The rest of the house was in very good condition, considering it was probably build in the 80s.
If we did have a problem, the management fixed it timely. Also, they are extremely friendly and helpful when you stop by their offices for anything. (Versus once you've signed the lease a "screw you" attitude. In Florida, friendly service staff anywhere is extremely rare!!!!!!!!
Probably the reason for their courteous service is the fact that the Antlers is in ONE of the only TWO clean, nice areas of
Jacksonville, Florida.
About the cat, we once babysat a kitten for a day. It was kept in the bathroom, but when one of the service men was at our apartment when we were out, he heard it meow and told management. We were charged $300 because a tiny little kitten had "crossed the threshold" (manager's words.) That was free money, a rip off scam. They are unforgiving when it comes to making a buck, obviously, so remember that when they are 'friend'ly. It's all business.
