This place is awful

When I went in to sign my lease initially, I explained to the office staff that I was a single female who had just moved to the area and needed a safe place to live. One of the woman promised me that the area was very safe and secure and that I would have to worry about nothing. She completely lied as for the next few months, there were police, fighting, drugs, and anything else you could think of going on there constantly. Everynight i would come home to police in front of my apartment for various reasons. The same woman who promised that Auburn Glen was a safe place ended up getting a gun, telling residents that she did not feel safe there, etc... The 24 hour maintenance request that they include in the lease is ridiculous. Although the guys were friendly, they often weren't even told of the requests that I had put in to the office. My neighbor's bathroom was literally falling in from the ceiling (which was attached to my bathroom, not a good thing) and has NEVER BEEN FIXED. It is a very dangerous problem that should have been taken care of before anyone moved into the apartment. The tenants they allowed to move into the complex rarely paid their rent (per conversations with the neighbors), often had violent situations, drugs, and outright ludacris behavior. When I complained, nothing was ever done to make me feel more secure in the environment. I had to go 3 weeks with a broken window because the lady at the office "forgot" to put in the request. I feel that the service I received from Auburn Glen and its staff was horrible and I will not recommend this complex to anyone.
