I lived in these apartments when they were formally Carlisle at Deerwood. Let me tell you, they weren't anything specialy then either. Where to begin' The walls are paper thin. Not only can you hear the neighbors talking but you can hear them when you are on the other side of your apartment. I was told that the carpets would be new when I moved in. When I first go my keys, I went and checked and the carpets were 2 different colors because they only changed the one in the living room. When I mentioned something to management, they smiled and said that there is no way that the carpet could be 2 different colors because they always use the same carpet. Let me tell you, there is a big difference from Tan and Yellow! And it was VERY yellow. The dishwasher was rusted inside and the stove didn't work. The fridge was a nightmare. I eventually got all this replaced but it took me one hell of a time. I had an attempted robbery because of those nice walkways that go right by the bedroom window, mind you this is the "small" room that my 2 week old daughter occupied when this happened. When I called the police management got quite angry with me saying that there was no need for me calling them. Maintenance staff is inconsiderate and rude. One day after getting home from work, I caught one the of the manitenance guys sitting on my couch playing with my dog! Oh and the AC was another issue. It didn't work at all! I had called management 10 times about it. When they didn't come, I took the stupid thing apart and found toxic mold living in the air ducts. Oh and this was before the roof in the master bedroom decided to cave in and I had a nice new sky light in my bedroom for about 2 weeks, rain and all. Maintenance thought it was humerous and gave me a 5 gallon bucket to put under the hole when it rained. I had to park my car by the main office because I couldn't get it to go over the speekbumps that are more like mountains! The dumpster was constantly over flowing and the grounds are over run with disrespectful children! Eventually I was able to move, thanks to new orders from the military. Let me tell you, that was also a hassel. They wanted to charge me 2 months rent for leaving! After furnishing proof of new orders, they told me I had to give them a 90 day notice. Check the laws regarding this because it wasn't in the lease and it's not 90 days but 30! Would i reccomend this place to anyone' NOPE! This was the apartment from hell. A cardboard box would have been better!
