I have lived at Beach Bluff for 5 years, and the author above is being truthful, however he is no longer manager, and honestly, the new managers cannot hold a candle to him! The yearly maintenance is being neglected, the quality of the tennants has diminished, in their attempt to keep the apartments rented, and the rent keeps rising, as the benefits decline! The "management" claims it's beyond their control, so if we do have a problem, it's just tuff! Not the way this property used to be run, and I resent the lame excuses! COME BACK HOME, CURTIS!

Hello, I'am the new manager here at Beach Bluff, and it has been a tough transition being a new manager, especially having such a wonderful manager in the past. But I've come to the conclusion, that we all have different aspects, and how we are to be doing our jobs. During my transition, we have had many company policy changes (not in my control)These changes are only for the better. Yes I have to agree that the past manager is wonderful, he is a dear friend of mine for the last 4 1/2 years, but I try to keep alot of the same aspects he had while he was managing here at Beach Bluff. Just recently we have had our picket fences replaced, and pressure washing on all buildings, we added a pet waste station, so therefore we are taking care of any maintenance issues that do arise.I apologize if its not in the time frame that you are looking for, but I'am constantly out on the property with my maintenance man, helping to improve our community. Of course it takes help from the residents to abide by policies and so forth, so we can continue to keep a wonderful community.

While our apartment could use a huge fixer-upper (including a new A/C unit I believe, because I think there is mildew in it) my huggest pet peeve, no pun intended, is the stray cats. The mananger is completely aware of the stray cats, and they've been here for years apparently. I am not an animal hater, but strays aren't good for many reasons. I find them on my car sometimes, or making a mess near the apartment, as well as whining at 4:30 in the morning on my porch because its in heat. My husband called animal control, but basically we have to trap it in order for them to pick it up. I'm not sure if we'll bother with it, or just hang on for the rest of our lease. One of the monthly newsletters a while back acknowledged the cats, and I wish so much that I would have kept that, because keeping stray cats is illegal. It's getting way out of hand. The location of these apartments as well as the one-story aspect is awesome, which is what drew us here in the first place, but everything else is definitely not worth the pay.
