property manager makes $$$$$$$$ commissions on empty apartments From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2006   This used to be a very nice place to live. Now it's almost a transient place. You don't know any neighbors anymore. And that's because of the commission the property manager and leasing agent make when they rent empty apartments. It's true - rent increases are random and arbitrary.
