No way in hell would I recommend Oceans Edge to either a renter or buyer!! The staff has come up with such a long list of rules and regulations along with "surprise inspections" that infringe on your right to privacy. The complex is run more like a "Gestapo Compound" than a friendly place to live. Not to mention that most units sit empty at this moment, which may have to do with the long list of rules. Who are they to inform me how long a guest may visit me in my own home (can't have a visitor for more than 7 days consecutive and no more than twice a month)! If you pay rent on a unit, you should have guests whenever you like for as long as you like and is NONE of managements business! In short, there are plenty of nice rentals in the area that DON'T try and get into your business. Also, the people that do live here are rude and standoffish, not friendly at all. I am out of here after this lease.

hey guys,,, what is up with ya'll being anonymous. scared someone will call the apartment police. it looks as though anon1 had some challanges, but when anon2 who is obviously part of management posted a response, that kind of turned me off on the apt. i prefer strick rules {i am old} but not mgmt that will go on line and be mean.

HOW DO THEY EVEN KNOW HOW LONG YOUR FRIEND STAYS OVER? AND IT IS NOT LEGAL FOR ANY LANDLORD TO WALK INTO A RENTAL WITHOUT A 24 HOUR NOTICE; I DO NOT CARE WHAT THEIR RULES STATE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE I CAN SEND YOU A NUMBER TO CALL REGARDING YOUR 'RIGHTS' IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR RENTING ANY UNIT IN THE STATE. LANDLORDS CANNOT DO WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT. NEXT TIME, CALL THE POLICE ON THE MANAGEMENT AND FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR BREAKING INTO YOUR UNIT.
