First, I would like to say that I am curious to see what Debra says in response. I feel sorry for the people that don t know about the apartment rating.com website(because I didn t at first) Lets start from the beginning, when we first moved in here, she was very nice and let us know that she didn t have enough time to have the cleaners come in and clean, so she gave us $45 off our rent, once I looked at the least I realized that if the apartment isn t clean when you move out then you pay about $150. The next problem that we had is the dish washer didn t work, we told them over and over again and they didn t work. FINALLY, after 6 months they gave us a new one which still doesn t work. She is a rude women that acts like she is better than everyone else yet she is probably over 50 and lives in the most ghetto apartment in the area. When you first move here, you are going to say, yes, I get free cable and free water well your free water you wont be able to use, bc it has black chunks coming out of it. With the cable, she is going to tell you, oh if you want HBO all you have to do is call the cable company and you will pay the extra fee that s a lie also. The cable company doesn t do anything for bulk accounts. Right now I am paying what the normal person would [ay for HBO. Then my washer and dryer stopped working, they were fast with giving us a new one, one week later, we got one, the washer and dryer is new but the people that put it in messed up the door that goes into the utility room and I am sure that Debra is going to not give us the deposit back for that. Then I when we got our wonderful NEW back porch just to let you know this is concrete and nothing else. I put up with construction workers for months caused me to have a nail in my tire that I had to get a new tire because of. When the workers came in to do the tile in the porch they told me that they have been making fun of the place bc the owners son did the tile and you can tell. (you can tell that the floor is uneven bc my bed sits sideways) Also with the construction, we were told to move all our stuff off the porch because they were going to start working on it, well they did start working on it, TWO WEEKS LATER. So we have put up with all of this, we realized that we DEF did not want to renew our re lease so we decided that we would rather be late on our apartment, so we could pay another apartment to move in. So we were late and she all of a sudden turned into SUPER -----!!! I have talked to all the people around us and they all said the same thing, that debra is rude! This was the last starw though. Today I went to the pool, and I had some daiquiris to make, as soon as I broke it out she popped her head out and said, you are busted! I was like busted with what. She started ranting and raving about how I wasn t allowed to drink at the pool and it was state rules, which is funny bc the new apartment complex I am going to has pool parties all the time and they tell you to BYOB. She then continued to tell me how she cant wait for me to move out, which is very unprofessional and when I said that I couldn t wait to get out also she told me because of all the appliances issues she said, wow I said I was sorry . The is a lot more but the is the just of it all and I would never tell anyone to rent here, there are several other apartments in the area that are the same amount you just have to look around. I will be talking to my attorney and trying to contact the actually owner of this place, but I don t think he cares either. I have NEVER Had this much problems and it showed me how many bad people there are in this world

I would have to agree with the first response, I thought Belle Rive was a wonderful place to live and the only reason I left was to buy a house. The location is wonderful, very quiet, and maintenance request were always done in timely order. Going back to drinking at the pool. It is very inappropriate to be drinking at the pool, where people bring their families to have fun and a relaxing time. Was it a glass bottle? Now my children's safety is a concern. I bet your new place won't be nearly as nice, quiet and safe with the lovely pool policy of BYOB. I enjoyed my stay and I know many people that have and I recommend it to many.

I have read some of the bad reviews on this site about Belle Rive Apartments and some of the attacks on Debra. After reading them, I have to say that my experience living at Belle Rive has been fantastic. First they are nice apartments and the management is wonderful. You receive free basic cable, anything additional you have to pay for yourself through the cable company, but most places you have to pay for everything. There is good parking, a pool, a workout center, and it is very quiet. On top of all of this Debra gives her tenants the option of participating in an early bird special where you can have your rent reduced. I could not believe the things that have been said about the Landlord/Manager Debra. She has been nothing, but accomodating and kind the whole time I have lived here. Everytime I have needed anything fixed or repaired, the job was done that day or the following day. Debra and her staff work very hard to ensure that everyone living at the Belle Rive Apartments have the best living experiences possible. Debra in no way shape or form is rude or inconsiderate, she treats her tenants with the utmost respect. I would recommend the Belle Rive Apartments to anyone looking for a place to live. This is a wonderful apartment complex.

I would like everyone to know that I did receive my deposit and although Debra and I did have some issues and I did have issues with the apartment that it was all settled and I think it was a misunderstanding on both of our part.

I have never lived at any apt complex that allows you to drink at the pool, let alone come and make cocktails. It's a pool not a bar.

I must respond to this complaint because I lived at Belle Rive Club Apartments for years and and I absolutely loved it!!!!!! Debra and her daughter are the nicest people and truly care about the complex. I have never had a manager of an apartment complex be so concerned about my continued satisfaction. Debra is the type that if you told her you were having a hard time she would do everything she could to help you get thru it. I never once had a bug or any problems with neighbors or noise issues. It is a very safe and comfortable complex that is well maitained! At Belle Rive you are not just a number, they get to know you by name. And as far as the drinking at the pool, I wouldn't want to be at the pool while people are drinking there and am glad that Debra puts a stop to it. It's not safe.

This is just ridiculous. Anytime an emergency flood happens, the response of an emergency wet-vacumn team includes a complete mildewcide treatment in the entire flooded area. Additionally, de-humidifiers and powerful fans are placed in the location for a minimum of two days. This particular apartment had all tile floors, making it unnecessary for the usual removal of wet carpeting and padding. Follow-up maintenance includes inspection for any additional moisture problems. and dehumidifiers and fans are placed in the area. Then there is a complaint of the noise the fans and dehumidifiers make. The resident leaves home, blaming management for having to do so, even though the fans and dehumidifiers are necessary to abort any mildew forming. Additionally, when the model apartment is offered as temporary residence until the machines are removed, that offer is not accepted by this resident and again, the management is to blame for them leaving home. I pulled the maintenace request orders for your "freezer not working", but I didn't actually need to because I remember the whole scenario very well. You continually complained of this, calling our maintenance manager out in the middle of the night several times. His first call diagnosis: You had the freezer so jam packed with food and ice from the ice-maker that ice fell out when the door was opened. He removed all of the food and got rid of all of the ice except in the ice bin. He also stopped the ice-maker. All your food was still frozen when I followed up the next day, yet you had started the ice maker again!! I told you then that you were causing the problem by letting the freezer become clogged up with ice cubes and too much food. The next call, again late at night, revealed that once again, you had let the ice-maker continually make so much ice that the freezer was jammed up with ice cubes and food. I recall that when I was called out in the middle of the night to accompany our maintenance manager to your apartment concerning the freezer once again, we arrived and were greeted by two small children. You stayed in the bedroom with the door closed. Again, the freezer was so full of ice and food that the door wouldn't shut. We again removed a double sink full of ice from the freezer, and I followed up the next day with a letter about your habitual miss-use of the appliance. Coupled with this and other documented habitual violations during your lease term, I did indeed send you a non-renewal letter a full forty five days in advance of your lease end. You had given us a notice to vacate a month before this non-renewal letter went out, but you cancelled it a week later. I certainly did exercise my right as property manager to make sure Belle Rive continues to have good residents.

It's bad business to air all of these personal grievances, Debra. Had you ever gone to college, you might know how to behave more professionally.

We no longer live at Belle Rive and would not return, but I would like to make a correction to Debra who obviously lacks accurate memory. I am the person who had an infant with a flooded apartment and can say with great confidence that it was my humidifiers that I bought to take care of the moldy smell and a replacement apartment was never offered to me or my family. I was also given new appliances, not because my freezer was too full but because it was broken. A freezer with that many problems who can not hold enough food for two people obviously had a problem and needed some maintenance.
