I have had good and bad experiences here. I'll start with the good. Belle Rive is quiet, and Debra(property manager) does a great job at making sure that the property stays clean, crime free, and quiet. The maintenance man is VERY helpful and nice. Most of the residents are very friendly and nice, too. These issues are a big deal to me. There are some major downsides, also. The appliances are all outdated and HORRIBLE. Our bedroom toilet always has to be flushed twice. It's a piece of crap(no pun intended). The refridgerator is small, and old. The stove is older than me. I swear it has to be from the 70's or 80's. The washer and dryer work ok, but they are very small and the buzzer for the dryer is ridiculously loud. Now, on to my current and long-time issue with the apartment and Debra. My unit is INFESTED with brown spiders. I see one every few days IN MY APARTMENT! I have been calling and calling about this issue for over a year and NOTHING has been done about it. She tells me that pest control can do nothing about it. THEN MOVE ME INTO ANOTHER UNIT! I should not have to live with spiders. I want to live in civilization. Oh, and the parking SUCKS. Seriously, if you have children that you have to carry or have health problems, please take into consideration that you will be walking very far from where you parked to your doorstep.

I called your office Wednesday and spoke with the other lady there. I explained to her that I signed my second lease in the winter, when the spiders were not as prevelent. I also explained to her that they are no other bugs in my home for the spider to eat, if that is what you are insinuating. She told me that she would give you the message. That was two days ago and I have still not heard from you.
When I initially signed my first lease there were no problems with parking. It is now a nightmare. One of my neighbors frequently has visitors and they take up all of the parking. I have ALSO reported this problem. With all due respect, after getting the message that I have called twice this month, and after reading this post it seems like you would call me before simply responding to my comment.

Dear Nunya 321007: When anyone calls our office with a complaint, it is our practice to try to resolve the complaint at the time of the call. From the conversation between Sue and myself immediately after your call, it was her impression that no further response was necessary. Once again, she logged your complaint in our pest control ledger and repeated what we have told you in the past concerning spider activity. At no time during your conversation did it seem that any additional action was necessary. We provide monthly pest control at no cost to our residents. We advise residents how to help control pests. Parking is unnassigned for all residents and their guests, therefore, continual complaints of certain parking spaces being occupied can only be addressed in one fashion. If you feel the need to discuss any issues with me, feel free to identify yourself and call me.
