If the people putting 1-star actually read what one star MEANS on this thing - they could not in good conscience award only one star. Let me address each of the categories in turn.
Parking: there is one area where parking is a problem. For all others, including me, there is PLENTY of space.
Noise: well, you can hear Southside from here, but the noise between the units is very minimal (toilet usage) and between the buildings is nonexistant.
Grounds: Nothing special, but not overgrown or anything.
Safety: there is an on-call JSO officer living in the complex. I don't see how anyone can put anything other than 'very safe' here. My wife is a stay-at-home-mom all day and never ONCE felt unsafe.
Construction: again, nothing wrong here. Floorplan could be more spacious, but the quality is not bad or excessively old.
Maintenance: our air conditioner was old and rusty and often performed less than we hoped, but EVERY other need we had was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction by Ray.
Staff: I think I never spoke to Sue ever. And even when Debra reminded us that we were violating a complex rule, she was not mean or nasty about it. We never felt offended by anything she ever did.
Overall: I lived in another complex in the area and this one is far superior. Price was better, included amenities were better. Grounds and safety were better. Staff and maintenance were better. This place is a hidden diamond in the rough. Everyone I know who came to visit us seemed pleased to arrive and amazed at the low price we were paying for what we were getting.
