While living here, my rent check got lost and they demanded for me to write another. When I did, they cashed the other check, so both checks hit my acct. From then on I demanded to get receipts, and it took an act of congress to get them to write a real receipt, instead of photocopying the check. which means nothing. Several roberies have taken place here and the complex doenst do anything to get security.

Update!!!! after I wrote this... I checked my credit three years later and they claim that I did not pay part of the fee due upon closing.
I kept the receipt after I paid because the staff does not seem trustworthy. After a couple years i threw it out. (big mistake).

Now my credit has a dent and I tried disputing it and they resubmitted the dispute adding several years to the bad mark.
Keep your receipts... Demand receipts, this place has dirty tricks...
