I have also had horror stories living in this complex. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I live in the Sandpiper section and I don't know if maybe they don't care about us because we are all the way in the back. All the other sections are well kept, nice landscaping and everything is green. My boyfriends motorcycle was stolen in November 06, no big deal to the office, the upstairs neighbor decided to leave the shower running for a month because maintenence didn't have the key to got in when he wasn't home so I had a nasty 3 ft by 3 ft patch of mold growing down the wall in the master bedroom. I have some kind of problem every month with maintenance and I figure after asking them to fix my counter top that is falling off the wall and only being supported by the dishwasher 7 TIMES an no response, I decided to give up. There are bugs harvesting in the corners of the rooms that you must request to kill. The air filter has been changed twice since last October. People are not considerate of others that live around the same building. I have to hear the neighbors friend honk his horn every morning at 6am so he knows he is ready for him outside. Trying to get anything from the office is absurd and not happening. You talk to one person and get one answer then the next day someone different tells you something completely not what the first person says. Then the complex decides to switch water companies on us charged the residents an extra $5 for them to print up the bill each month! The new lawn guys don't even "cut" the grass, they maintain it's length! Hedges are overgrown, and unkept, the trash man comes at 6:30am 3 days a week, waking people up when they slam the bin down...needless to say I'm getting the hell out in 2 weeks. Don't move here!!!!!!!!
