Worst Choice Ever From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/29/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I've lived in the Sandpiper section for 3 years and I agree with all the other reviews. The attitude from the office staff is horrible. I actually had the manager sneak out the back door while I was waiting to speak with him on my lunch break. I waited 30 minutes because our bathtub water was running full blast all night and into the next afternoon. The children in the area are never supervised and out all hours of the night which is probably the reason for the robberies and car break-ins. We actually had to break up a fight between children because the mother told her 5 children to jump 1 little boy. She insisted they jump in the pool to get him even though they themselves couldn't swim. She then proceeded to attack us verbally and physically because we stopped the fight. This complex is full of trash!!! I'm really not sure what the Police substation is for. When the oncall maintance does come half the time they wreak of alcohol. The children love to play in the middle of the parking lot and move very slowly if at all when a car is coming. Don't try to talk to their parents about anything they do...you will only end up fighting with the so called adult. It's like living in a high priced Ghetto. They put on a very good show to get you to move in which is funny because one of the leasing agents actually lives in SandPiper and is fully aware of all of these issues. You should be able to sue apartment complexes like this for false advertisement. Everyone does not go through a back ground check and I know this because there are ofter more people living in an apartment than legally allowed which is very apparent to everyone. These are usually the ones with criminal backgrounds but I do know of several adults with criminal backgrounds who are the only adults living in the apartment, so the must be the one who signed the lease.
