I'm on my second year here. What a mistake. Let me list the reasons why you SHOULD NOT move here:

1. Crimes: Just this year, they've had 4 people held at gunpoints and robbed, I've seen cops flying in at least 5- 7 times, with one of those being a woman who called 911 in panic when somebody tried to break into her apartment.

2. Noise: Pardon the stereotype, but this apartment belongs on MLK road. There are cars blasting music loud enough to shake your windows at 3 in the morning, fights all over the place at any time of the day, and drunk people screaming at each at the top of their lungs. It's like a zoo, really. There are dogs barking NONSTOP into the middle of the night and the office won't do anything about it except send notices... which brings up the next point;

3. Dog crap: Need I say more' It's EVERYWHERE. In fact, if you walk outside the door, the apartment smells like dog poop. Oh, and these dogs run around without leashes, so it's an everyday event for people to get mauled by dogs.

4. Liars: When you sign the lease, they don't tell you that you have to pay the APARTMENT for water and sewage, which is included in most apartments. That'll add another $40 to your monthly rent.

5. Cars: There are many immature adolescents living here so you have to be VERY careful when you walk around the corner. They will come screaming around the corner at about 50MPH and will honk at you for being in their way. Keep in mind, some people have kids, but it doesn't deter them. If you say something to them as they screech by, they will stop the car and pick a fight with you.

6. Efficiency: The insulation in the apartment is non- existent as well as windows that don't seal completely so it kills you in electric bills, not to mention you can feel the wind blowing in when it's cold outside.

7. Parking: This is the worst problem. The parking spots are so small that if an SUV parks next to you, either you can't open your doors all the way or they will dent your car. Sure, the parking at the office is awesome. But check out the parking where residents park.

Before you sign, walk through the complex. During your stroll, as you inhale the nauseating fragrance of canine feces and their continuous barked greetings, enjoy the cacophony of music vibrating through trunks, and you can even experience the New York like atmosphere as you dodge speeding cars on your way to meet your new friendly neighborhood drug dealers. Oh, have I mentioned the drug dealers' Whatever your poison, you can find your favorite concoction by taking an evening stroll in the complex.

All in seriousness, I would not recommend this place to my mother- in- law... if I had one.

YOU MUST LIVE ON THE NORTH SIDE. I AGREE WITH THE WATER ISSUE. I'M VERY CONSERVATIVE WITH THE WATER I USE, YET BECAUSE THEY ALLOCATE IT I END UP HAVING TO PAY FOR THE WASTEFUL HABITS OF OTHER!

you just seem angry to me. people do very stupid things whilst angry. you resigned with these "terrible" people. That part I can't get over. if i don't like a place I am out of there ASAP. either you like the "adolescents" or you are just spiteful for something

i agree that there were alot of problems and the last person that commented has no life!! they said a lot of stupid things on my post too. But I agree with you on your post b/c i'm stll living there and there are still many problems.
