It's not completely the management's fault

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
We lived there for over a year, leaving oct 2007. The problems there weren't the management. It's residents who think they can do what they want. The city started the fair housing so that low income families did not have to live in bad areas. The problem is that many do not care about where they live. When I was there, there were many low income families that moved in, got their friends and family moved in, and acted like it was a party. The trash everywhere, that's residents. Why can't you go back inside your house and toss your trash' Are we not adults' Why can't we pick up after ourselves' As for pets, you knew when you signed that lease, that dog was not supposed to come with you. There should not have been pet stuff in your apt as that dog should not have even crossed the doorframe. There are many low income families that do deserve a chance, but there are many more that just don't care and bring the ghetto with them everywhere they go. Why can't parents control their children' I got sick of kids running behind my vehicle every time I put it in reverse. I was tired of hearing kids, that didn't even LIVE in my building, running their mouths outside my door. My son never got a solid night's sleep cause teenagers hung outside his room window at night. There shouldn't have to be a security guard and patrol to tell parents to keep your kids inside. Someone shouldn't have to tell your kids the handrail in the pool is not a firepole. Don't put your big butt on it. Tell me why kids are playing in the weight room' Parents, kids should be in at dusk. There is no good in a kid being out after dark. They need to come in at dusk, eat dinner, finish their homework and go to bed. You'll pobably see their grades improve, too, if you care about that. And for that compactor, I moved into another neighborhood with a compactor. It is never broken and only needs emptying once a month. There are more residents here and it's a smaller compactor. The compactor at Brookwood was always broken cause someone would toss furniture in it. Then, the next person would just leave their trash on the ground. Then, the rest of you lemmings would just leave it there, too. There were many mornings I stopped in the office just to here the maint. men talking about the compactor being empty while there was a montain of trash bags outside of it. How about someone taking the initiative to do the right thing and actually OPEN the door and toss in your trash' How about we stop sending 8yr olds to the trash can' You know it's not safe. Then, you're gonna want to sue when they get hurt. RESIDENTS need to take responsibility for that place, not point fingers at management.
I left because I was paying over $1200 for a 4br just to live in the ghetto with people paying $900 for the same 4br.
It's a nice ghetto.
