Overall, I don't think that there was much that the office staff or maintenance could have done about my feelings regarding this community. The grass wouldn't grow, so everything is dusty and this gets EVERYWHERE! The lawn service likes to annoy residents by blowing all crabgrass and weed clippings and dust onto porches, despite being asked on EVERY occaision by many residents to stop. During my 7 month stay the pool was closed and then under construction and was not finished until a few days after my lease was up. The sprinklers, which I had complained about many times not working finally got fixed. I was told each time they were working all the time, but 2 days before I was to move out, with lots of boxes and packing materials on the back porch and a few friends and I got showered! They finally got them fixed... but this and the dishwashers are all plumbing which needs to be approved by the managment company.... C&J Managment. The teens in the community solicit drugs and they cause a lot of ruckus hanging out in the parking lot. Then they hang out in the park all night and break glass and beer bottles, etc. in the children's playground! The sprinklers (again, the ones in park were just fixed a month before I left) spray on the playground, so kids need to bring a towel to dry off playground equipment. While out of town for the weekend, my door was easily kicked in and my apartment was cleaned out. I would definitely reccommend renter's insurance. But nothing was ever stolen off of either porch in the whole time I was there, maintenence workers were always thorough about their work and courteous, but were not allowed by managment company to spend more then an hour in any apartment. Not enough workers for an older community where there is a lot more work expected. Deposit took a little haggling to get back! But nice apartments, spacious, thin walls, overall ok. For prices and siza, one of the best deals you will find on this side of town, and location is GREAT! Definitely a place to go if no transportation, bus, grocery, bank,restaurants, blockbuster, everything just minutes away.

this letter is as of 1/11/07 my apt overall is a great apt but the residents in my bldg have no respect, they smoke drugs on my front and back door steps,they leave old burnt food in pots on the front door thershold in clear view without fear of any type of fine from mgmnt. the pool is being advertised in apt books but can"t be used because it is a safty hazard full of green water and bugs,the club house/computer room is closed down and cannot be used because there is no one tthat is willing to update the rooms,overall i feel like i am back in the projects with no pride in were i live because management has no pride,o yeah the grounds look awfull,looks like an open field were cows go to graze!!!!
