i have been a reident since March and has already had numerous work orders, which they take their time to complete. Current problem happened last night until present. The water is my tub is still running as I type which began last night around 10:30pm. I called the front office for "EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE". I reached the answering service of course, which isn't always available. I proceeded to explain my emergency to her and I was told that the best she could do was inform the office in the morning of the problem. I restated to her that the water in my tub is running still and about to overflow in bathroom. I was then told to hold on. When she returned she stated again the best she could do was inform the office in the morning. I then proceeded to contact a plumber. They wanted prices ranging from 120 to 165 to come out after hours to fix the problem. the plumber advised me that since I live in an apertment cony=tact the office again and get someone out here to fix it right away. I proceeded to call the office again. Same lady answered. This time when i told her she stated she would have someone contact me back. I waited 30 minutes and no one called. I then called back and she was then very rude telling me that i already called in the problem earlier and as she stated there was nothing she could do at that time. So I informed her taht per the lease we are told to call the office and get the emergency maintenance number. She didn't have such number. So as you can see Cherter is nota quality place to live. I do have alot more to tell as to an ordeal another friend went thru but that would take too long. Happy apartment hunting. Cross Charter off your list.
