Regarding all of the people who didn't like it at Charter Landing, obviously you were the residents they WANTED to get rid of! In any place you live, especially an apartment, things are not going to be perfect, especially when they were built in 1974! There will be noise from other residents, it's not a house. There will be break ins everywhere you go, they don't guarantee ANYONE'S safety, not even the safety of the staff, and by the way people acted towards the staff when I lived there, they need more protection than the residents! And for that matter, why would they apologize for something they didn't do or cannot control' Be realistic. I lived at Charter for 7 months, and I NEVER had a problem. Of course there will be times when things go wrong, you can't expect things to always be perfect. Emergency requests were taken care of like an emergency request, and a tub leaking isn't an emergency! Residents who complain about stupid ---- all the time make the good residents look bad. And then they wonder why the staff doesn't like them and is ready for them to leave! I like all the girls in the office and the maintenance guys. I go back to visit them quite frequently and hopefully when I am ready to move again they'll have an apartment available for me to move into. If you are expecting to find a place that there is no noise and no crime, good luck cause you'll never find it in Jacksonville or anywhere else for that matter. But, if you're looking for friendly staff and a really cool apartment with a great atmosphere and a pretty kick ass view of the river, go see the girls at Charter Landing cause if I was happy, trust me, you'd be happy too! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
