I lived in Charter Landing for less than a year. I loved the view and the apartment and that is all. Everything else about the place was terrible. The first week our a/c broke and leaked covering the entire kitchen and dining room carpet with water. That took several weeks to fix. Both mine and my roomates cars were broken into. I was walking to my car late one night and was almost hit with a prybar by someone who was breaking into cars. I reported it to the office and nothing was done about it. Concerned for my safety I asked to break the lease and the office staff told me as long as they rented out the apt we would only have to pay 2 mos rent. We signed paperwork to ensure it and after we moved we recieved a bill for the remainder of the lease. DO NOT TRUST THE OFFICE STAFF UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!
