There are multiple people telling the same "feeble stories", myself included, and you question the authenticity of them' It's not some big conspiracy against Chase Oaks, it's simply letting everyone know of the conditions and in our opinions it is not worth the money they charge. I have the same problems as everyone else which are roaches, leaks, outdated appliances that barely work, ants, the downstairs sink filling up with disgusting water every time we use the washing machine, and every time we run the dishwasher the dishes are left with a white film from the water and look even dirtier than when we put them in.
I see on the website that they start out the townhouse model that I live in at $788 but we are charged $945 and the rent goes up each time we renew. My townhouse has not been renovated in any way and is not even near the lake so how in the world can they justify charging almost $160 more per month than the starting price'
The sewage/water bill has also mysteriously doubled in the past few months with no answer from the management except "we're working on it" but I guarantee that we will not be credited the extra amount we paid. We know that these are old apartments and do not complain about the creaking floors or the old look but we expect something better and will not be renewing unless things change.
They only good thing I can say is that every time I have needed maintenance they have come in a reasonable amount of time.
Included are pictures of the nasty ring in the bathtub that has been there since we moved in. The enamel is coming off and rusting and we didn't show the cracked caulking around the entire tub that we have requested to be fixed several times. Also included are the corner next to the bathtub and toilet upstairs where the mold is growing, the other corner of the bathtub has the same problem and this is where the leak went from the upstairs through our living room roof. Looks like they did a great job fixing it, right' The plumber said that the wood framing is rotting and the floor is slanted from the water damage but nothing has been done.
I am not posting anonymously and leaving my email address because I invite the management or anyone to contact me on these issues.

I can agree with this person about the water sewer bill! it was 3 dollars less than my power bill! I was told "oh we were triple billed" and would "see a credit" and I got my new bill, yeah it's 12 dollars less than last month, but still unbarebly high.
it's not going to be fixed.
Don't rent here for this and many reasons!
Management even with new owners, just doesn't care!
And again, this poster is right about the difference between the rate on the site and what we are charged! It should just about be a crime!
