well, looking back over a year-i can say for me...this was the hardest year and worst apt. i've ever stayed at in my life. however, it is not all bad. here is the most honest opinion i have. first it is scary. if you are a white female you will not feel safe here. staff is SO nice, but they don't see what is going on in front of them. it seems every! car that drives around here has the loudest stereo system you've ever heard. and there is the truck that circles the complex with music so loud it literally shakes the windows..that is usually 12-2am. i've watched from my window...it's like the icecream truck for drugs. i've never had ANY problems here as far as criminal...but it happens infront of you all around-i can't walk to the laundry without some strange guy stopping me to 'talk'...and it isn't friendly. people stare at me like they've never scene a white woman before. i don't belong here...but make up your own mind for yourself. drive through on a friday night. i promise you will lock your doors when you drive through!!!!! people just hang out and stare at you at all hours of the night. and then there is the racing around the complex. speed bumps''' they are hardly bumps at all. the apartments are SO old. and bugs' staff is so nice..even sent x-terminator!!!...but he couldn't help because my neighbors breed them and i guess this place is so old bugs crawl right under walls. it is so horrible!!!!! i stopped complaining after the second month. i kill between 10-20 a day. parking is great...no problems for me anyway.

WHATTTTTT!!!!!!!! Don't flatter yourself.... I have lived at Chase Ridge for a very long time, I am a single white female and although the guys around here stare at times they are HARMLESS!!! People speak in passing (that is just being polite). as a single white mother I can say that I have always felt safe. Music, well I guess driving anywhere for you is a problem since music is played loudly where ever you go, funny so many years here and the music never bothered me or woke me up. Bugs!!! maybe you should clean your apartment because agian I have been here for so very long and hasve never had a single bug in my apartment. Driving through at night, people not hanging out just neighbors gathering together with families having bbq's, many of the residents walk around as part of the neighborhood watch, and when we lost power for an entire night through to morning alot of the male residents came to check on the single woman to ensure they're safety. I found that to be quite safe, they did not have to do that. So again get over your self. CHASE RIDGE AND THE TEAM IS AWESOME

HaHA... I have lived there for less then a month now and am already working on getting the hell out ... break my lease if I have to The bugs are horrendous, perhaps you are the one that doesn't clean and therefore you don't care! The very first day before I moved anything in, I had 2 german roaches come flying out of spots, we have yet to go a day without a roach sighting. My daughter and I have cleaned and scrubbed as that we necessary since the place was pig sty when we moved in, we are clean however our neighbors are not. The entire building would need to be fumigated... As for the neighborhood, I walk me dogs very close to my place and try to stay the hell away from the other tenants, I can't wait to get the hell out, I haven't even unpacked my boxes, no sense I'm not staying. I've been here 3 weekends now, and last night was the 2nd time in 3 weeks that I've heard gun shots, you can still see the broken window from the last one.. If you are thinking about moving here... RUN RUN FAR AWAY
