I have been here, not so long only since 2003 and just signed next years lease. You get people from all walks of life here and I am no exception! This place is LBGT friendly. The only problem I ever recall having was my air conditioner breaking and it was fixed within the week. Any other maintenence has been resolved the DAY I put in the notice. John and Juan are great! Marie and Shay are always friendly, fun to chit chat with and make living here a wonderful experience. The community aspect of the apartment complex is grand, from the pool parties, to the tenant appreciation week, or the annual flea market, to even babysitting the kids so the parents can go visit "Santa Claus" right before X-mas. Parking can get a little hectic if you have two cars like we did, but you don't have to worry about the saftey of them. Living here, sometimes you forget you live on the "west-side" of Jax. I would highly reccomend this place as a plateau apartment until your ready for a house, thats what I am doing. And though it will be hard to say goodbye to this community when I do leave, I will know that it is a place I am willing to come back too!
