The worst place I have ever lived in my 35 years and I grew up poor

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
I moved to Oak Hill in the middle of February, my rent was paid via allotment on the first of February. I was told that my rent would be prorated and I would receive the difference, ten months later I have not received a cent.
Three days after my move in date the apartment still was not ready. There was a 1 1/2 inch gap under my front door, they were still putting down carpet. The front door frame was falling apart, if you push on the door while locked it would come open. There was no oven racks in my oven for three days after I moved in. I was told that the refrigerator has an icemaker and it does not. The dish washer has never work ed properly; dishes are worst after they come out than when they went in. I requested that someone look at the dishwasher on the 3rd of November, today is the 9th of December and no one has come yet.
One of my bedroom doors won't lock; there are two holes in the floor in my hallway under the carpet which is a tripping hazard. When you flush the toilet, run a shower or washing machine there is no water pressure anywhere else in the apartment. Speaking of water the water here is unbelievably hard. I have a 55 gallon aquarium with white gravel that I clean and change filters once a month, the gravel have changed from white to gold in color because of the iron and other stuff in the water, not to mention the bad smell and I use a faucet filter.
I found out that there was a roach nest behind the refrigerator, after I had to request an exterminator because of the infestation of roaches.
The A/C unit went bad and they had to replace it. I spent about 10 days in the Florida heat without one. Once it was put in it started leaking. I had to call them once a week but the unit leaked from 5 may 03 until the 4th of August. In the mean time the apartment below me are having Spring showers in the Summer. There was a consistent drip of water coming from a light fixture in their hallway that they had reporting also from May through August. Needless to say with the other issues they were having these tenants terminated their lease after a few months.
During the time that the A/C unit was leaking the hot water heater shorted out (could it have been cause by the water from the A/C unit leaking on top of it running down to the rotting floor)'
Not noticing before I moved in, there are no electrical outlets in the master bath, no not one, something the ladies should think about.
There is also a long hallway in the three bedroom apartments that connect all three bedrooms, the light switch is at the opposite end of the hall, so at night you have to walk down this long pitch black hallway and search for the light switch, but why bother you have already navigated through the darkness to reach the end just feel your way into the masterbedroom and turn the light on in there. By the way, there are no electrical outlets in this long hallway either.
Unfortunately in the unit that I live in the parking area is not level, the angle is so steep it would be wise to use a parking brake, even if this is more wear on your vehicle.
Right now this is not truly a gated community. The entrance gated have not worked in months and is always opened to who ever wants to enter.
There are normally two ways to get access to the community, a access card reader adjacent to the gate or you have to use this machine that calls the tenant for automated access where when the gate was working there would be a line of people waiting to contact tenant. The card reader has not worked in about nine months so when the gate was operating, tenants had to wait in line with non tenant to gain access.
In the Spring time here the Pollen is Rediculously heavy, you have to dust off a vehicle to make sure its yours. My vehicle was towed by accident, apparently Oak Hill will have your vehicle towed away if your tags are expired. Well the car in question was a Geo Tracker with expired tags in another part of the community, one of my vehicles is a suzuki sidekick with eight months until the tags expire, but yet my car was towed. When the car was returned it was left in the middle of the parking area taking up multiple parking spaces and the passenger door was ajar. I was giving an apology for missing my appointment while trying to find out what happened to my car, when it was mistakenly towed.
There is very poor lighting in the master bath shower area and the bath tub in the community bath drained very slowly so if you took a shower you would be standing in water.
There are no rain gutters over patio, don't keep anything you don't wont to get wet on the patio.
One of my bathroom doors would not close,This door was also put on my inspection sheet upon move in back in February to be repaired. Since it had not been repaired and no one had any privacy in that bathroom I made a request to the office on 1st of September that the doors be repair. Two months later on the 9th of November the doors were repaired.
The first week in November (not sure of the exact date) I reported that my kitchen sink was leaking (would not hold water) today is December 9th, sink still not holding water.
Oak Hill has lost two sets of keys to my apartment, their original and the copy they made from my set. My question is who has those keys I think its time to change the locks.
There are pages that I could right, this is just a fraction of the issues I have and the problems here at Oak Hill.
The choice is yours but if you read this be warned!
